Background
PCF runs several training programs in various countries throughout the year and needs to involve trainers in order to carry them out successfully. As a non-profit organisation, the PCF is committed, whenever possible, to sharing these opportunities with the wildfire community. Furthermore, PCF wants to become a platform for people who wish to participate in trainings, but do not have the means, need support or want to be part of a larger team.
Objective
Creation of an internal pool of trainers interested in actively getting involved in training programs. This internal pool makes it easier for the PCF to quickly identify trainers when opportunities arise. Through the creation of this pool of trainers, PCF improves transparency and cooperation with the wildfire community in the trainings involved, ensuring that the trainings are carried out with the best available knowledge and experience.
Who can participate in the pool of trainers?
The pool is open to PCF members and other collaborators who are interested in getting involved in training sessions lasting between days and weeks. This collaboration will be paid and will be agreed with the candidates. Participation in these training sessions can be compatible with other jobs.
